Pete Hegseth, Jeanine Pirro and Kash Patel walk into a bar. Stop me if you've heard this one.

In reality, alcoholism is no laughing matter. And neither is the fact that the head of the Department of Defense, the director of the FBI, and United States Attorney for the District of Columbia all appear to have "drinking problems."

I'm sure that alcoholism in Washington is not a "lone wolf" disease, and that the character defects of Trump's three stooges run deeper than the immediate dangers of their not being able to think rationally and clearly in a time of criisis.

So yes, a flip and sarcastic thread title, but it seems to me that this warrants some form of Congressional investigation and / or intervention. No idea what they can do, or if a Republican majority in Congress would have any interest in it at all.

Kash Patel's ace legal eagles demand that The Atlantic not publish "defamatory" details by MAKING THEM PUBLIC.

The first is an allegation that Patel was viewed as a “threat to public safety,” including concerns about how he would respond in the event of a domestic terror attack. The phrase “threat to public safety” was not in The Atlantic’s report.

The second is that an allegation that he once had his security detail shut down the FBI Association Store so he could shop alone, and complained that the merchandise “wasn’t intimidating enough.” The claim that the merchandise was not sufficiently intimidating was published; that the store was shut down by his detail was not.

That means that the letter, which came from a personal attorney for Patel rather than from the FBI’s own counsel, effectively put what it describes as false and defamatory statements into public circulation.

The letter ended by saying, “Please confirm you will not be publishing this false and defamatory article about Director Patel.”

National Guard's top general issues a formal, appropriate "UP YOURS GRAMPY" RE: troops at Midterm polling locations

The National Guard’s top general told Congress on Friday that it would follow the Constitution and the law when he was asked about the possibility President Donald Trump would order troops to polling places for the midterm elections.

The remarks at a U.S. House Appropriations subcommittee hearing came as Democratic lawmakers also voiced unease over the continuing deployment of nearly 2,500 National Guard members in Washington, D.C.

Rep. Joe Morelle, a New York Democrat, asked Gen. Steven Nordhaus, chief of the National Guard Bureau, what assurances he could provide to Americans concerned about the deployment of troops at the polls.

“The National Guard, obviously, always follows the Constitution, law, policy and guidance, both at the federal and the state level,” Nordhaus said.

Federal law prohibits the deployment of the military to polling places unless necessary “to repel armed enemies of the United States,” and violations are punishable by up to five years in prison.

Sammy is NOT STEPPING DOWN, DASHING Grampy's plan to install Cannon or Habba or Pirro or inanimate carbon rod

"Inanimate carbon rod" = Simpsons joke. Every employee at the nuclear plant had a turn at "Employee of the month," except Homer, so he thought he had it in the bag until Burns chose an inanimate carbon rod over him.

Justice Samuel Alito, who was appointed by former President George W. Bush, "'is not stepping down this term and is in the process of hiring the rest of his clerks for the next term,' a source told Fox News Digital. Two other sources told Fox News that Alito is not retiring this term, which lasts until the Supreme Court's new year kicks off in October. Justices tend to hire their clerks two to three years in advance, although that process is not necessarily indicative of a justice's retirement plans."

The news follows months of speculation that Alito was preparing to retire at the end of this term — fueled by the fact he was preparing to release a book in the fall. Touring to promote the book would have been easier to plan if he had intentions of not sitting on the court by next term.

Alito remaining on the Supreme Court ups the stakes of the midterm elections in the fall, as a Democratic Senate majority, or even just a more evenly divided Senate, could severely limit President Donald Trump's ability to nominate a Supreme Court justice if a vacancy opens up after this year.

"The revelation that Alito is reportedly not planning to step down comes after President Donald Trump told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo he is 'prepared' to appoint up to three Supreme Court justices if vacancies arise," noted the report. "Trump added he has a shortlist of nominees in mind, though he did not mention any names."

Art of the INVISIBLE DEAL! Grampy says Iran "agreed to everything!" Iran says "You are NOT getting our uranium."

Iran immediately shut down President Donald Trump’s claim that it had “agreed to everything” the United States demanded, including handing over its enriched uranium.

Instead, Iran’s foreign ministry said on Friday afternoon that its uranium was not going anywhere.

“Iran’s enriched uranium is not going to be transferred anywhere; transferring uranium to the United States has not been an option,” Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei told Iranian state broadcaster IRIB, according to CNN.

“Iran’s enriched uranium is sacred to us like the soil of Iran,” Baghaei added.

Caitlyn Jenner. "Loves Trump?" CHECK! "Loves what he's doing?" CHECK! Can't leave the country? CHECK! Womp, womp.

Caitlyn Jenner spent years championing Donald Trump and his movement, but now she can't leave the country. And the man she backed hasn't responded.

Jenner revealed this week that her passport was returned with a male gender marker after she sent it in for renewal, a direct result of Trump's executive order requiring all federal documents to reflect the biological sex assigned at birth, Entertainment Weekly reported. The change has left the longtime Trump supporter unable to travel internationally, even as her Global Entry, driver's license and pilot's license still reflect her correct gender marker.

The 1976 Olympic decathlon gold medalist told conservative commentator Tomi Lahren she did everything right — submitted proper forms, included a hard copy of her birth certificate — and still got the wrong marker back. She said she has Trump's personal cell number but chose not to use it, instead writing him a letter explaining her situation.

"I haven't heard from him. He's kind of busy right now. My gender marker isn't big on the issue," Jenner said. "I love the guy, and I love what he's doing. But, I'm trying to figure out now what is the next step to try to figure this out."

Grampy issues "FIERCE cease-fire DEMAND" to Bibi. "Within hours," Bibi dismisses it "a number of times." ART OF THE DEAL

Israel was issued a fierce demand Friday morning by President Donald Trump that they cease striking Lebanon, but according to reports, it appears to have dismissed Trump’s orders “a number” of times within a matter of hours, resulting in at least one death.

The ongoing two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran was brokered on the condition – according to Tehran – that Israel halt its siege on Lebanon, which Israel invaded last month and has struck repeatedly, displacing more than 1 million people – including 350,000 children – and killing more than 2,000.

And yet, despite both Israel and Lebanon agreeing to the ceasefire, which went into effect on Thursday at 3 p.m., the Lebanese military said “several Israeli attacks” were recorded, as well as “intermittent shelling targeting a number of villages,” per Al Jazeera.

“The Lebanon 24 media outlet has reported that Israeli forces fired a machinegun and an artillery shell towards an ambulance team affiliated with the Islamic Health Authority in Kunin in the Nabatieh Governorate of Southern Lebanon,” Al Jazeera’s report reads. “The news outlet said casualties have been reported.”

SAD! WOKE! UNFAIR! RIGGED! Erika Kirk told to pack up the Grift Wagon and vamoose from Phoenix High School campus

Pinnacle High School principal Jeremy Richards sent families a notice Thursday announcing the event would be relocated off school grounds and pushed to after the final bell, saying the visit had the potential to create serious problems for the school day, The Daily Beast reported Friday.

Kirk took the reins at TPUSA following the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, last year, and has since become a prominent figure in right-wing circles — a fact that didn't sit well with many at the north Phoenix campus.

"It’s a little crazy because I would never have expected someone like her to show up at a high school," one senior said. Another told local news the ideology she promotes had no place in a classroom setting and that the school could find far more appropriate guest speakers.

“I think the topics that she talks about are too extremist for a school. I think there are better representatives we can have,” said Francisco Sanchez, also a senior.
